They refused to mail my title to me after my vehicle was paid off. They stated I had to come to them to pick it up. When confronted about the Pennsylvania state law, which is on the DMV website, I was told by the “manager” of this law and her response was.” We don’t care what the DMV says, it is our policy here to come in for it.” So I have reported them to BBB and my lawyer is involved as well. They are breaking the PA law which is a very serious matter for the dealership. I believe the con-artists want to attempt to make another sale with you when you arrive for the title of the car YOU own. They are holding my title illegally. The vehicle that is in question, btw, has had nothing but issues with the transmission which they refused to address even with the warranty that I purchased. The car is currently out of service because the transmission failed. The cars are way too high priced for the condition and extremely high mileage they all have. Please unless you want nothing but problems and to work with non-compliant dealership that breaks the PA law, then go for it. But know you have been warned

I came in to make a final payment for another person because I was going to take ownership of the car after final payment. I wasn't privy to any information of payments made or not made, but the final amount was just over 500. Was told it would be 4-6 weeks for the title to arrive. I waited, it never showed up. Spoke with Vickie who proceeded to yell to at me "YOU'LL GET IT WHEN I GET MY MONEY". Her exact words, I tried to speak over her loud abrasive voice that I did make the final payment... After several minutes in hold she said "oh I found it" and never apologized for her stupidity. Was told they will call me when the title arrives. Shocker - I had to call them to find out it finally arrived. These people are poorly organized, and I'm glad I will never have to do business with these morons. Beware of Ted’s Used Cars – Horrible Experience! I regret ever stepping foot on Ted’s Used Cars lot. We bought a 2014 Kia FORTE Koup with roughly 120,000 miles on it, and it’s been a nightmare from the start. When we first bought it, we found drugs and used needles in the car—disgusting and incredibly unsafe. Less than eight months in, the engine completely blew (thankfully, we paid extra for a warranty, but we shouldn’t have needed it so soon). Now, the car is already on its third engine, and it’s clear these vehicles are just patched together junk. When I called to inform them I’d be returning the car, I was shocked at how they handled it. My payment wasn’t even a week late, and instead of giving me a reasonable amount of time to bring it back, they showed up at my door in sweatpants to repossess it within three days. It was completely unprofessional and humiliating. On top of the terrible vehicles, dealing with the staff is a nightmare. Dee, in particular, is the rudest, most arrogant, and snobby person I’ve ever had to deal with. For a “buy here, pay here” lot selling mediocre cars, the attitude is laughable. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Ted’s Used Cars at all costs. You’re better off buying from literally anywhere else.

I had a Wonderful experience with Teds Used Cars. Brondon was very helpful. He did his thing. He got me approved for car, which I honestly didn't was going to happen. I would recommend Teds Used Cars. What an Amazing experience.

Been with them 5 years and I was pretty happy throughout them years and came back for a second car and even referred people from a hour away. I always made my payments and was reliable a customer there is. ONE TIME I hit a rough spot and need to ask a favor to push the payment back they turn there backs. That's my thank you. We'll played. I got 4 kids that depend on me. But hey 60 out of 60 payments made on time isn't enough proof I'll pay it back. My kids appreciate the gesture. Ha

Honestly. Brandon was more than awesome. Customer service was beyond measures. This company is lucky enough to have someone as smart, fast, and reliable as him. The process was easy/ smooth and he worked within my budget. Answered all questions I had. Communication skills were amazing as well. They gave my daughter the run around for 4 days then told her she needed $5000 down! If she had $5000 she would not be at your dealer. They were not helpful at all and you could barely speak to them about anything. Terrible business!

I have to write this review because what happened to me she will do to you with your children in the car. Dee will call the cops on you to repossess your car, in the middle of traffic, to stop traffic, and take your car, leaving you stranded. If you are 1 payment behind. I was sleeping out of my car and one payment behind, called finance and talked about it, for sure I was told 1 payment behind. I told them my situation and they asked if Id be able to bring the car up to them twice in the conversation and I told them I couldnt because it was my shelter and I got paid in 4 days. Dee didnt hesitate to pick up the car the next business day and Ill never forget the smile on her face when she banged on my hood in the middle of a construction zone , coming out of nowhere in front of the workers and drivers screaming THIS IS A REPOSSESSION!! Yelling, waving her hands, and attempting to direct traffic in the craziest way as if I was a hardened criminal. I asked her if I could safely pull up out of the one way to the space in front of us, she aggressively refused and made me do a unsafe uturn in the cones into a dirt lot. [Mind you this woman stated she was following me an hour, which makes her action more evil due to her possibly tracking the farthest distance from what used to be shelter to abandon me and take the car, when I was driving in safe and quiet neighborhoods where I could have safely been pulled over.]She left me stranded in a strange city with a blanket and some belongings, just yelling at me to hurry up and take my stuff out. I couldnt even take my safe or house key or even have a way to get up to retrieve them. She then smartly asked "If I was ok?" Walked as a young female all the way back to the city I knew, which was miles. Dee also made a racist statement to me while I was signing the papers for the car and thought I was ok with it. I remember the quote to this day. POC should NEVER buy their cars here. I REPEAT. NEVER. It was coincidental because my boyfriend dropped me off and we were a interracial couple. She talks down to people on the phone and her employees in front of you sitting in the lobby you can hear. I spent more money on the service center than my car payments and twice waited 5 hours for nothing to be fixed after driving 50 mins. Lol. You WILL experience problems within the first month with the car. One guy bought a SUV the same [week? ]I did, and that sucker was sitting at the service center for eons. He JUST got it. They will run all the cards you have on file unauthorized if one doesnt work. The only people there worth their salt is Laura and Patrice. They showed kindness tenfold. The craziest thing is I would have never been so traumatized of such unnecessary behavior if they would have done what I thought they would do and take it in the middle of the night when I was at work. Instead opted to follow me for said 1 hr to a construction zone full of people to made a ridiculous unbelievable scene that which this action defines character. Happened to me, will happen to you. No truck , just cops. Stay away from the 14 Chrysler 200 on the lot if its still there, that was mine.

Just bought a car there and everyone was super friendly from the moment we got into the parking lot. It was raining and Evan still had a positive attitude and let us test multiple vehicles.
